Visit To ICICI Prudential
The Placement cell of Quest Infosys, Regional Centre organized an Industrial visit for students to ICICI Prudential where about 50 students of PTU Learning Centre, Quest Infosys, visited. They were accompanied by Centre Head Navjeet Kaur, Placement officer Heera Kamboj and Sonia Sharma, Academic Head and Sarabjit Singh, Management Faculty.
Ms. Rajatdeep Kaur Associate Training Manager ICICI PRU gave brief profile of the company. The officials of ICICI Prudential explained about the career opportunities in Insurance sector, different services, assets, turnover etc. They were also explained about the current openings and procedure of selection in ICICI Prudential. Quiz contest was also scheduled for the students of PTU Learning Centre. Certificates were given to the winners of the Quiz contest certified by the President of ICICI Prudential.
The queries of the students were answered by Ms. Navneet Kaur, Unit Manager of ICICI PRU. Placement officer Mr. Heera Kamboj and Navjeet Kaur Centre Head thanked the officials for enabling their students to visit ICICI Prudential.
Commenting on this activity Mr. Jaspreet Singh, Regional Manager, Quest Infosys said that industrial visit like this makes students aware about company, their services/ products and they can prepare themselves accordingly to become a part of the company. Mr. Harinder Kanda, CEO Quest Infosys also stated that such Industrial visit helps students to know about the working culture of the corporate world and makes them professionally more competitive. Mr. D.S Sekhon, President, AIPTUDEP said that such kind of activities not only helps the students in their overall development but also helps them to easily fit into the working environment.
