Seminar On Communication Skills

 

QUEST INFOSYS, Learning Centre,Ludhiana organized a seminar on Communication Skills on 6th Nov 2009.Mr. Anurag Aneja Director of Aneja’s Training and Placement Services was welcomed by Ms. Navjeet Kaur, Centre Head and other staff members. Mr. Anurag explained about Communication Skills including the importance of Communication Skills. He explained that if we have good communication skills we can survive or set a good future in today’s corporate world because good communication skills is the best way to represent yourself. He also told that if you have good education/personality but you are not having good communication skills it will always be a hurdle for you to grow in corporate world. Communication skills play an important role in today’s scenario. It reflects yours personality, your thoughts, attitude, and clarity of subject. Facilitator also highlighted the concept of personality development including morals, ethics and values by giving examples from day-to-day life. He gave a brief talk on Interview handling skills like dressing sense, body language,  gestures, resume designing, group discussions and personality development.
Mr. Heera Kamboj, Placement Officer, stated, “It is very important to be a good communicator for that you should have good communication skills verbal, written, Reading and Listening. These four parameters are just like the tyres of a car without four tyres we cannot think about a car on road. Same here if we don’t have good communication skills we cannot get into the corporate world”.
