Annual Function
Vaishnoo Maa Computer, Regional Centre, celebrated Annual Function on 24th January,2011 in the premises of central library Patiala. S. Deepinder Singh,Deputy Commissioner, Patiala was the Chief Guest and Dr. RPS Bedi, Joint Registrar, Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar Presided over the function. Famous comedian Gurpreet Ghuggi also participated in the function who thrilled the students with his skits. Famous singer Feroz Khan also thrilled the students with his sweet songs .The students of this institute sang poem, song. They also performed bhangra ,giddha and skits . Students enjoyed all the items with very enthusiasm. S. Deepinder Singh, Deputy Commissioner, Patiala, awarded the degrees to the MBA, MCA and other toppers students. He advised the students to work hard with sincerity and devotion to get better higher education. One can achieve the higher goal with his higher aims. Navdeep Walia, Managing Director, Vaishno Maa computer , Patiala informed the chair and the audience that the centre were established by the Regional Centre during the year 2001 and the total strength of students at that time was 1840 which arose to 6138 during the session S10.The rise is due to the able guidance of Dr. Rajnish Arora, Vice Chancellor, Punjab Technical University Jalandhar and other higher officers of the University. The rural and poor student who can not afford higher fee can get education at cheaper rate through Distance Education Program. As the study classes are two hours in a day, one can also perform job simultaneously to earn his livelihood. Dr. RPS Bedi, Joint Registrar, PTU Jalandhar and Navdeep Walia presented memento to S. Deepinder Singh Deputy Commissioner, Patiala.
