He conferred the degrees/diplomas to the Graduates/Post-Graduates/ Diploma Holders to 560 students of the 29 learning centers of Bathinda Zone. One of the easiet way to get a degree is by distance learning. .. Also, these days the majority of institutions don't consider any difference between distance education degrees and normal campus base degrees. These learning programs are flexible! With distance learning, you can choose when you can study and how long. With normal campus based degrees, you have to be there at campus. In distance education, if you have personal commitments or a job, then you can rearrange your time to your liking to study. This is especially true for people who are employed, but can't take off their time at work to study and get a degree. The best option for them is getting a distance learning degree! For those who are in service, especially for teachers and lecturers, it can provide wonderful opportunities to undertake reorientation courses in order to improve their knowledge and skill. It also helps them to update themselves with latest happenings and requirements. I congratulate the individuals on whom the University has conferred the Degrees, Diploma and Certificates. I felicitate the students graduating today and wish them all success in life. I am confident that education would continue to be a part of their lives as they seek to upgrade their skills, acquire new knowledge and improve their career and standard of living. After the award of degrees, Prizes were given to toppers in academics. Two outgoing students shared their experiences in which they described the manner in which this unique, application-oriented course had helped them in the betterment of industrial practices resulting in easy jobs for them in good companies. Finally the programme ended with a vote of thanks by Avtar Singh, Regional Head, PTU DDE (Bathinda Zone) . ![]() |
