PTU enables the Students to send their queries to join the various courses provided by the University through different Learning Centres. It also provides an opportunity to join PTU DEP by opening a Learning Centre.

Under distance education mode, the University has more than 2000 Learning Centre’s across India enrolling 1,55,000 students. Punjab Technical University is a State Government University established in 1997 for the advancement of technical education. The University is imparting education through regular and distance mode. The University has under its affiliation 380 engineering & architect, management & hotel management and pharmacy colleges and more than 2000 learning centres under distance mode. The university has received e-India award for Best ICT enabled University and Best Open and distance learning university of the year in 2010.
